Kevin Thomas is a native of Columbia, MS. He is the older of two children born to Kenneth and Mary Thomas. He made a confession of faith in Christ early in his life at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, where he also began his public ministry at the age of 19 under the leadership of the late Dr. L.Z. Blankinship, Sr.
Kevin was ordained by Dr. Blankinship and began pastoring the Pilgrim Grove MB Church in West Point, MS at the age of 27. After a very fruitful seven year tenure, he was elected as Pastor of Good Hope Baptist Church, where he has served in that capacity since September 2, 2007.
Kevin is a graduate of East Marion High School in Columbia, MS. He also holds a Bachelor’s of Religion from Faith Evangelical Seminary and is currently enrolled in Moody Theological Seminary. He also serves as First Vice-President and Instructor in the Spring Hill District Association Congress of Christian Education.
Kevin is married to the former Trayce Moore and they have two children, Miles and Madilyn.
